TunezU Radio – Episode 100

We like round numbers. We celebrate when high school basketball players hit 1,000 points, major league baseball players hit 500 homers, or when the old lady up the block hits 100 years old. There is something about a nice round number that sounds better than a not so round number. When I run, I often go for 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, or 16 mile runs. I don’t know why, but if I was planning on running five miles, I just go run six because it sounds better. Maybe it’s some weird OCD tenancies that I have.

Needless to say, this episode is the 100th episode of Brentnet Radio (first 70-some episodes) and TunezU radio (last 30 episodes). While I can say with much certainty that I’m the only person that’s checked out each episode (truth in advertising: each episode gets somewhere between 10-20 hits), I do appreciate what little feedback I’ve gotten from doing this. It’s something that I kinda-sorta started in high school when I hosted a daily music show after school that has continued 15 years later.

For my 100th episode, I just picked 20 songs from my all-time playlist that I really like. This isn’t my definitive 20 greatest songs ever or anything like that. Just a collection of music I really like. Which is what I hope each and every episode is. Enjoy…
