Lead the Perham Yellowjackets to a third consecutive state tournament appearance winning the Section 8AA title game finishing 23-8. Defeated in the first round of state by eventual state champions Minnehaha Academy 53-41. The Yellowjackets were named Class AA Academic State Champions for the second consecutive year. Named Section 8AA coach of the year. Finished 9-3 in HOL good for 2nd place. Ranked #5 in Class AA for least points allowed per game (48.5) and #7 for point differential (15.9).

2011-12

Helped lead the Yellowjackets to a third place finish at the State Tournament finishing with a record of 29-3. Defeated Worthington 51-47 in the first round of state, lost to Litchfield 33-31 in the state semifinal, and defeated Braham 52-46 in the third place game. The Yellowjackets were named Class AA Academic State Champions. Co-Conference HOL Champions. Named co-Section 8AA Coach of the Year. Chosen by the Perham Chamber of Commerce as one of three recipients for their Leadership Award. Ranked #2 in Class AA for least points allowed per game (42.4) and #15 for point differential (15.7).

2010-11

Coach of the 2010-11 State Class AA Boys State Champions. Finished with a record of 31-1. Named MaxPreps 2010-11 National Male Sport Coach of the Year. Named Section 8AA Section Coach of the Year. Co-Conference HOL Champions. Ranked #1 in Class AA for least points allowed per game (39.6) and #3 for point differential (24.5).

2009-10

Finished with a record of 20-7 (14-4 HOL). Lost to Hawley in the subsection semifinals. Ranked #8 in Class AA for least points allowed per game (48.8) and #13 for point differential (15.5).

2008-09

Finished with a record of 11-15 (9-9 HOL). Lost to DGF in the first round of the playoffs. Named coach of the MBCA All-Star game.

2007-08

Finished with a record of 19-8 (14-4 HOL). Lost to Pelican Rapids in the subsection semifinals. Ranked #10 in Class AA for least points allowed per game (50.3).
