The Jackets (7-8, 4-2 HOL) face their third consecutive 3A foe as the Fergus Falls Otters (10-9) come to town. Like the Jackets, the Otters graduated a lot of key players from last year’s squad and feature underclassman very heavily in the rotation. The Jackets are playing the last game of an 8-game home stand that has stretch the entire month of January.
The Jackets and Otters have battled for the last three years with the Otters having a 2-1 advantage. 7 total points have decided the three games. As the Jackets won by 3 in Fergus Falls in 2012, the Otters hit a buzzer beater to win by 1 in Perham in 2013, and the Otters came from 10 down in the second half to defeat the Jackets by 3 in 2014.
