I know that I haven’t updated the website in a while. Don’t worry… this site ebbs and flows and has for the past five years. I’ve got a few things I’m planning this month. For one, I’m going to take a baseball trip and hope to put up some info on this page. I’m sure sometime around my birthday, I’ll also post the semi-annual “holy crap I’m getting old” bit that itself is getting old. But for now, enjoy a little of what I’m listening to.

  1. Foxboro Hot Tubs – Stop Drop and Roll – Green Day can do no wrong in my eyes. Foxboro Hot Tubs is a side-project of the guys in Green Day. They play songs that sound like they are from the same era as The Stooges, The Kinks with a hint of influence from the Hives and The Strokes. “Mother Mary” is probably their bigger song right now, but I really like everything I’ve heard up to this point.

  2. Flogging Molly – Requiem for a Dying Song – I’ve long been a fan of Flogging Molly. They are still one of the five best live bands I’ve ever seen (they’re going to be in Saint Paul on Friday, August 8th if you’re interested). I met them at Warped Tour in Fargo in 2002. They were all extremely greatful. They signed a cd for me and sat and talked to me and a friend for about five minutes. I’ve met artists who’ll sign something for you, but I really think it says something when they’ll sign a cd and be like “
